It is our belief that people will have the best chance at generating income by beginning with a real website that they control and can change to suit their needs. The training programs we offer are the best available and those with little computer or Internet knowledge should begin with one of those before trying other methods. Learning how to build a website will teach you basics that will be needed as you progress to other areas of opportunity.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Newer Desktop or Laptop PC: Either one is fine as long as it is a fairly fast computer with a minimum of 1G RAM and 40G of available hard drive space. If you bought your PC within the last 5 years you should meet these minimums easily. An older, slower computer may work, but performing multiple tasks will take more time to complete. Also, some programs can be extremely large and over time your hard drive memory will reach full capacity. If your current computer has a malware or virus infection it should be repaired before purchasing any program.

High Speed Internet Connection: If your Internet connection is the “Dial-up” type of connection it will be far too slow in handling the tasks required to run a website, or do almost all of the affiliate marketing needs that require an enormous amount of data transfer. Compare a Dial-up connection that will take hours to transfer a file, to that of a High-speed connection that only takes a few minutes to complete that same transfer. High Speed DSL that uses phone lines is acceptable, as well as Internet connections provided by your cable or satellite company. Do not waste your money by purchasing any program, if you do not have a high speed Internet connection.

Ability: Besides knowing how to read and follow directions, there are basics that you need to know regarding how to use your computer. The 3 you must know are how to right click, left click, and copy & paste using your mouse. If you have absolutely no experience in using a home computer you will have extreme difficulty in making money. Every program assumes you understand these 3 basics. Though it may seem bizarre to mention it, there are still many people who are new to their home computer for a variety of reasons, such as age, previous economic restrictions of affordability, no Internet access, etc.

Dedication and Drive: There are NO overnight riches to be made from the Internet. NOBODY that is new to Internet marketing has made $1000 their first day, $10,000 in a week, or other claims of becoming a millionaire from any program offered. Making money as an Affiliate Marketer takes work. It is a second job, often with a steep learning curve in the beginning requiring hours of doing the mundane tasks involved with building a website, writing articles, and creating links to products you will be paid a commission for.

Other Costs: If you plan on choosing an opportunity that involves building your own website, a very minimum amount of funds will be needed in preparation of purchasing a program that looks appealing to you. The outlay is very small, but if you are sure that you want the opportunity to make money from the Internet you should purchase the following two needed items now, before purchasing any program we have listed for your review.

All website building programs require you have the following 2 items purchased:

1) Domain Name – A domain name will be the name of your website you eventually build, or where a program that may provide you with a website script will have you install it to. Domain names are extremely inexpensive, costing about $8.00 per YEAR (yes, that is per “year”) to own.

2) Host Server – Your domain name must be connected to a Host Server to be visible on the Internet. Large companies have special computers and equipment that “host” your domain name so that your website can be seen by others.

Prices vary greatly for a Hosting service, depending on a variety of factors, including greed. The more reputable companies charge between $10 and $20 per month for their better hosting plans. Cheaper hosting companies may have lower pricing per month, but that often reflects a lack of customer service, lack of compatibility with website scripts, or excessive “down time” of their system.

Be aware that most program developers will try to steer you toward more expensive companies offering these services. It’s similar to a car salesman selling you a good vehicle for a great price and then selling you “extras” at inflated prices. There is no need to spend more than you have to, to get started making money.
