Originally, HomeIncome-101.com consisted of 4 program developers who met for breakfast during an Internet Marketing Convention held in Las Vegas, NV. As the casual conversation moved from topic to topic, the subject of the economy came up. We talked about the potential for anyone with a computer and Internet access to solve their debt problems and make money with a business that has the absolute lowest start-up cost of any business today. The ordering of products online (billions of dollars worth) is increasing each year and money can be made by anyone who knows how to take advantage of these changes. We started sharing stories of how we began our individual Internet businesses and this led to the sharing of other “secrets” we don’t tell too many people.

From a stay-a-home mom, to a graduate in Computer Science, we come from varied backgrounds and our group is growing.

Most of us keep a low profile. We like to stay under the radar. Most of us live a moderate lifestyle, keep a “real” job for the medical benefits, and don’t spend money on expensive toys that raise the red flag of a certain government agency. We take advantage of every tax break afforded to business owners. It’s all legit, as we are able to write off our vacations and purchases (like flying to and staying in Vegas for a marketing convention).

Most of us began our own journey toward Internet money because we had been where most people are now, many years ago. Bankrupt (or on the verge of bankruptcy), or living paycheck to paycheck and robbing Peter to pay Paul. It is difficult at this point in our lives to understand why more people don’t use the Internet and their computer to start a business online. Money can be and is made every day by thousands of people.

What we wanted was to share the fact that getting started in this business is easier today then it was in the 1990′s. Almost everything has been automated and simplified without the need to know all the HTML coding, or spend thousands of dollars that was required when the Internet was in it’s infancy. Get enough people being ripped off and it gives our business a bad name. Promises of bank accounts being filled with $10,000 overnight with no work involved fed on the human nature of greed. Walking around at the convention were a couple of those very same people who created programs promising wealth we knew was impossible to achieve using their program. There they were, walking around with Rolex watches and $2000 suits after arriving in a $100,000 vehicle paid for by those they had ripped off.

We decided to combine our efforts and place our programs in one central location on the Internet. Sure, we will continue to list with the major program outlets that allows garbage to be sold along with our legitimate programs, but our website would require approval after a review and would have to meet honesty standards before additional programs would be listed.
